SwarmZero, formerly Hive Network, is a decentralized AI startup focused on building trustless and secure AI agents to transform Web3/Web2 engagement with AI. They envision a world where AI interactions are transparent, secure, and private, empowering crypto adoption on a mass scale.

Ahead of their alpha launch at ETHDenver, SwarmZero challenged us with a one-week timeline to develop a compelling proof-of-concept UI and a logo that would capture their brand and technology vision.

Our design process centered around receiving feedback and iterating on it early and frequently. We held collaborative workshops and design reviews to embrace an iterative approach, allowing for continuous improvement. Communication mostly took place on Discord, with occasional check-ins, ensuring that the design evolved in line with Hive's needs and feedback.

Brand Identity

Through collaborative sessions with Hive’s founder, we explored design concepts to capture Hive’s vision. We focused on elements that reflect the interconnected nature of AI agents, using hexagonal shapes reminiscent of honeycomb cells to suggest networked nodes, and incorporating subtle references to an abstract bee motif. We used a bold color palette with yellow, orange, silver, and black, and integrated on-trend elements like glassmorphism, gradients, and 3D effects. This approach ensured the brand identity was both modern and familiar to users in the crypto ecosystem.

With the logo and brand colors in place, we developed a proof-of-concept UI for Hive’s platform. Using wireframes from the technical founder, we refined them into high-fidelity designs emphasizing simplicity, functionality, and visual appeal. Key screens include the Agents Hub dashboard, agent messaging, Create New Agents, and a unique "swarming" feature for complex workflows. Additionally, the interface incorporates dark mode to deliver a sleek and modern aesthetic.

In just five days, we delivered a fully realized brand, logo and proof of concept UI, enabling SwarmZero to make an impactful debut at ETHDenver. This foundation not only attracted user interest but also positioned SwarmZero for growth and investor engagement.
